Here's something tiny I stitched, over one. :) The stithed area is approximately 3 x 7 cm. The design is part of the Tralala's chart "Dans mon jardin" (shown below), I changed it a bit though.

Huh huh. Vihdoin ja viimeinen olen saanut suurimman osan (+500) blogipäivityksistä vilkuiltua läpi. (En edes yritä sanoa, että "lukea" koska se olisi ollut aivan epätoivoinen urakka.) En ymmärrä miten noita päivityksiä on taas noin kertynyt... Ja koska olen ollut taas tosi surkea kommentoija, jätän tähän muutaman vilkuilun arvoisen linkin aivan upeista käsitöistä. Katsokaa ja kuolatkaa!!!

Well, I'm finally almost done with browsing through the (+500) blog updates on my Google Reader. (I'm not even going to say "reading them" because that would have been a mission impossible for me.) Tässä sitten kuva häälahjasta, jonka pistelin nuorelle parille. Kankaana 40ct pellava ja siltikin tuli ihan kiitettävän kokoinen. Kehyksen kanssa koko 70 cm x 50 cm, tai jotain sinne päin.

Tuossa keskellä on tietysti morsiamen ja sulhasen nimet, mutta otin ne nyt pois tuosta kuvasta. (Kuva on muutenkin aika huono, koska tunkivat tuon taulun liikkeessä sellofaaniin enkä sitten kotona enää ehtinyt sitä aukoa ja laitella uudelleen...)

Here's the wedding gift I stitched for the young couple. I used 40ct linen and even then it's quite large. The size is approximately 70 cm x 50 cm with the frame, or something like that...

There are of course bride's and groom's names in the middle. (I took them off the photo.) The photo itself is a bit fuzzy because this was wrapped in clear plastic and I just didn't have time to unwrap it and wrap it all over again...

Onnittelut vielä kerran molemmille!!!

Ompelukone on saanut kyytiä ennen systerin häitä (joista selvittiin (kait?) kunnialla viime viikonloppuna).

Mm. tällaisten ompelua on ollut ohjelmassa. Kyllä, ne ovat juuri sellaiset huikean järkyttävät mummopökät, joihin on ommeltu pitsiä koristeeksi. ;D Tulivat yhteen ohjelmaan.

My sewing machine has been quite busy before my sis' wedding (that was last weekend btw).

I've sewn these. ;D The hideous looking grandma pants were for one "game". (It's very common that there are all kinds of entertainment at the wedding over here. Games, competitions etc. etc.)

Ja seuraavaksi sormustyyny, jonka ompelin. Ompelin tyynyyn myös helmiä koristeeksi.

Häät olivat aika vaaleanpunaiset, kuten kuvasta voi arvata. :)

And here's the ring pillow I sewed. I also added some beads for the lace.

The theme colour for the wedding was pink as you can probably guess. :)

Sain tämän ihanan Strawberry Housen valmiiksi jo pari kuukautta sitten, mutta on unohtunut laittaa näytille. :) Ihana malli. :) Nyt kun vielä tietäis mitä tästä tekis???

I finished this lovely Strawberry House couple of months ago, but I've forgotten to show a photo for you. :) It's really cute, right? :) And now I just have to find out a way to finish it...

Tässä tyyny, jonka tein äidille syntymäpäivälahjaksi. Malli jälleen kerran Little House Needleworksin (Baking), johon lisäilin sitten helmiä muutamaan kohtaan. Tyyny oli kyllä aika nopea tehdä, vaikka noiden laidassa olevien nauhojen ja pitsien kanssa pitikin värkätä. ;)

Here's something I made for my mum for her birthday. The desing is from Little House Needleworks again (Baking) and I added some extra beads for it.

Anne Oupsista otti ja posautti naimisiin Joulukuussa. Pakkohan meillä oli häntä, ihanaa ihmistä, muistaa jollakin lailla ja siitähän syntyi oikea rakkaden peitto. Kuvia peitosta voit vilkaista vaikka Marjan blogista. (Hän viimeisteli tämän ja loistavaa työtä tekikin!) Tuossa alempana minun pistelemä sydän. :)

Anne from our local stitching group got married in December. Of course we had to do something for her her in honour of their marriage and because she is such a lovely lady. So we ended up making a Love quilt full of hearts. You can see photos of the complete quilt at Marja's blog. (She's the one who finished this and did amazing job!) Here's the heart I stitched.

Olen unohtanut aivan täydellisesti näyttää oman pistelyni Violariumin viikonlopulta.  ...Edelleenkin on rasia päällystämättä, mutta eipä hätäillä. Kyllä se vielä jonakin päivänä valmistuu. Lupaan käsi sydämellä.

Aika hyvin on tuo osto"lakko" (tai sanottaisko, että "downsizing" niin kuin tuolla yritysmaailmassa paljon puhutaan) toiminut minun kohdalla viime aikoina. Mutta sitten oli pakko tilata lisää kangasta (ihan niin kuin sitä ei olisi ollut ennestäänkin laatikossa). Mutta kun ei ollut just sitä väriä seuraavaan projektiin. ;D Maailman paras perustelu, vai mitä?

Niin eikä tässä ollut edes kaikki. Osa on vielä tulematta. Joo, pitäis mennä ja potkia itteä aika lujasti. (Marika, tää menee myös sarjaamme "klo 22 jälkeen" shoppaillut.)

I've been pretty good lately and haven't been buying that much stash at all. You could say that I really have tried to downsize my stash and I really have tried to get it into my head that all the pretty things will be available a year later AND there will also be new pretty things available...

But you can't be perfect can you? And just because I didn't have the exact fabric for the next project I just had to order it. And some more. I haven't even received all yet.

I should really go and kick myself. And someone should ban using the computer after 10pm 'cause that's when you have the weakest moment. ;P

Oon muuten aivan ihastunut tuohon Country French -pellavaan. Jotenkin aivan ihanan pehmoista, kun on tottunut, että monet pellavakankaat on aikamoisia koppuroita!

I don't know about you but I have really fell in love with the Country French Linen. You know how some linen fabrics can be really "tough" but this feels really soft!

Thanks once again for all the nice comments, they are truly appreciated! It might be that my blog is a bit quieter for the next 1,5 months... I'm not going to leave you completely but my time will probably be more consumed with my sisters oncoming wedding. ;D

I stitched this Little House Needleworks' Gardening design for my friend Minna for her birthday. :) First I meant to finish this as a small pillow but something happened with my sewing machine and this is how it turned out at the end. But I really like it and apparently so did she. ;-D

PS. Siirsin muuten tuota arvonnan deadlinea Sunnuntaille, koska luultavasti pääsen vasta sitten arpomaan voittajaa. (Lähen reissuun pariksi päiväksi.) Unfortunately I didn't have time to stitch an envelope for this competition (bummer).
